Double standards is a blessing and a curse. When it comes down to sexual expression of one's erotic spiritual connection, society frowns upon you and your beliefs. Fighting double standards has been an war between personal self and the status quo since the beginning of time. Gender has been the main source of double standards but not the only source. Discrimination between what males can do and what females should do has defined our traditional responses to one's natural behavior. Expression is limited to what society has stated to be approved. spiritual erotica behavior has been shun behind the curtains of double standards.
My paper correlates to many of class themes, such as Affirmative Consent. Where for both parties have to have consent to say yes though out an sexual act. This is not strictly to gender basis such as only males and females but to every sexual party. Do heterosexual and homosexuals. Also it corresponds with the topic of sexual expression and how men are praised upon themselves on how many sexual experience they have with women, and on the flip side. Women are shun if they choose to encounter with more than what society calls to many men. Last but not least spiritual erotica is not taught to be respected as ones soul sexual acquired taste and should not be allowed to be displayed publicly if a women, and if it is displayed it's limited to what society also says is not traditional.
What I feel I might have a challenge with in my paper us staying in topic. I tend to ramble and go deep in another direction for to long and I might loose my reader. Also is my vocabulary to the fact I like to write so a 3 year old might be able to understand this doesn't allow me to branch out in my vocabulary.
